About James Frith

James Frith with familyMarried to Nikki and dad of 3, James is a passionate campaigner for equality, fairness and young people. James is a Labour activist and elected member of the Labour’s National Policy Forum for the North West of England. A former Councillor, and parliamentary candidate in 2015, James now sits on Labour’s International & Brexit Commission which helps develop policies covering Brexit, Defence, Foreign Office and International Development.

Since 2012, James has run his own social enterprise, employing 12 people, working with young people to ensure they’ve every possibility to succeed in life after school. He is a national leader in the skills and careers industry and is driven by a sense of social justice and a determination to ensure lifelong learning and access to repeat opportunity for all.
James is a member of the Communication Workers Union and GMB.
